Honda Motorcycle, the motorcycle division of the Motor Company, began production in 1955. Currently, in India, Japan’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, motorcycles are the second largest motorcycle manufacturer.

Honda motorcycles come in a variety of motorcycles. The range consists of scooters, commuter motorcycles, sport bikes and performance-oriented high-end bikes.

Honda entered the Indian market in 1999. The Honda Activa was the first scooter on the line to go on sale. The Honda Activa is the first unisex variomatic scooter in the country. The first step into Honda’s motorcycle segment was the Honda Unicorn.

After a long-term partnership with the Hero Group, Honda Motors has terminated its contract and decided to launch its product in India. Honda helped expand the range of the 100cc / 110cc segment with the Dream Series and achieve that number.

Shine series motorcycles are already prospering as the world’s largest 125cc bike. The Honda CB Shine was launched in 2006 and uses the Ergotech design. It is said to be one of the company’s most successful bikes, not only in India but worldwide.

The Honda CB Trigger, a 150cc commuter bike, was launched in 2013 as an alternative to the Unicorn Sizzler. The Honda CB Trigger has attractive looks, excellent mileage and excellent braking action.

The CBF Stunner is Honda India’s entry-level semi-faired bike. The bike has been part of Honda’s lineup for many years and is India’s best looking 125cc bike.

The Dream Series was launched by Honda Motors primarily to attract commuters in the city. Their bikes, Dream Yuga and Dream Neo, are very popular with Indian commuters due to their low price and high quality. The Honda CD110 Dream is the cheapest Honda bike available in India.

Currently, the product portfolio includes many imported bikes such as the VFR 1200 F, CBR 1000 RR, CB 1000 R and CBR 250 R. If you’re ready to pay, there’s the Honda CBR150 available for Rs. Rs 12.000 and Honda CBR250R are available with a price tag of Rs 165,000. The Honda CBR150 R returns 45 kmpl on the highway and 32 kmpl in the city from a fuel-efficient engine.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has three manufacturing plants in India. India’s first motorcycle factory is located in Manesar, Haryana. The second motorcycle factory is located in the Tapkala Industrial Zone in Rajasthan. India’s third motorcycle factory is located in Narsupra, Karnataka.
