It was a great looking motorcycle and quite rare outside of Japan. In 1969, a superior “improved” single-seat design was launched along with a rugged travel luggage rack, while continuing to use the “slope” motor and electric start designed for the home market design.
Around 1971, the third version of the 125 twin for commuting arrived. In this case, it uses a vertical engine with exactly the same tightly spaced cylinders and side-driven cam chains.
The actual wheel dimensions, which are now expanded from 16 “to 17”, made this motorcycle a bit larger, and the Honda CD125 finally bowed in the 1973 design. Chrome panel. All of these features attract 125 twins every day and are sought after by enthusiasts. The single carburetor and 4-speed gearbox are one of the many attractions of this low-power yet smooth twin-cylinder unit.
The Honda CD125 puts itself in a touring class that duplicates a similar model known as the Honda CA125. Many of the features this model offers are top notch with a fuel economy of 52.4 liters. The width of the Honda CD125 has changed to just 780mm, making it easier to turn and reducing overall machine usage. The height is also valuable to the biker, making both the driver and the passenger more attractive.
The weight of the Honda CD125 is light, whether empty or filled with 52 liters of gasoline. This model weighs about 133 kg when dry, and while filled with gas, the weight increases by five orders of magnitude to 142 kg. The wheelbase is also large, and a more comfortable ride is achieved with 1,280 mm. The Honda CD125 has been and has always been a high quality bike built for the road and the distance that follows.
Honda’s CD125 is equipped with an air-cooled stroke SOHC 4-valve engine with a displacement of 9.4: 1. The engine lubrication system is known as forced and splash wet sump. This keeps maintenance below average for similar motorcycles. Honda included an electric starting engine with valuable CDI ignition. The CDI ignition allows the 5-speed transmission to start a jump start and stay all-star no matter where you ride.
The frame of Honda CD125 is a diamond steel pipe with 27 degree casters. This helped to build the rear swingarm and telescopic fork front suspension for the rear suspension. Like many bikes of this type, the Honda CD125 includes drums on both the front and rear brakes. The equipped speedometer has aspects that many need to know, such as mileage, gas, and a few other components.
