Decoy bride colored BMW

Decoy Bride is a new romantic comedy movie starring David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Kelly Macdonald (Chalk, Harry Potter 7 pt.2). This movie is about a famous female star captured by Paparazzi by her wedding day. Her management hires a “bait bride” to fool the press.

The scene where BMW appeared was shot in the lane just off Great Western Road, at the western end of Glasgow. BMW has colored windows so that the paparazzi are not visible in the car, and the three cars are the same. In the scene, the car speeds away from the hotel together and splits in different directions to guide the press in the chase of wild geese. That’s all I’m trying to reveal in the movie synopsis. The car is a BMW 5 Series sedan (new model) with window shades installed by a local Glasgow company. The production company Decoy Bride Production / Ecosse Films decided to color it at the very end, so the car was tinted the night before the scene was filmed.

BMW will appear in the movie as a product placement car, courtesy of BMW. The window shades were installed by Mr. Tint Glasgow and removed from the vehicle after the shoot was taken.
