What is a Hasport Motor Mount?

You might ask yourself, “Who cares about motor mounts?” You’ll also be amazed at how important they are and how good the Hasport mount is. Hasport motor mounts replace stock motor mounts with billet aluminum housings and polyurethane bushings. This has many benefits.

Genuine Honda engine mounts work well with genuine cars in new condition. They have a soft rubber bushing with a steel housing that keeps your engine in place and absorbs engine vibrations. However, over time, the rubber bush will deteriorate and should be replaced at least every 5-6 years. Want to replace a worn-out factory engine mount with a better replacement?

The Hasport engine mount is made from a one-piece billet aluminum housing to allow for a variety of engine mount configurations. This allows for bushings that are upgraded over standard Honda mounts, as well as unique engine mounts that allow Honda enthusiasts to replace their motors!

All Hasport Billet Mount Kits are manufactured on a CAD / CAM process to accurately mount stock engines or Honda and Acura motor swaps. Hasport has designed different engine swap mount configurations so that different motors can be easily replaced with other Honda chassis.

Another advantage over genuine motor mounts is Hasport’s unique polyurethane bushing. All Hasport mounts are available in urethane hardness of 62A, 70A, and 88A. Select 62A urethane for road vehicles. This allows very little engine vibration to be transmitted to the chassis for a very comfortable drive. Choose 70A for cars that are occasionally driven by trucks and 88A for all-out race cars. All bushings are guaranteed by Hasport!
