Top 10 Valentine's Day Romance Movies

Top 10 Valentine

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. In addition to roses, candies and suppers, you need a warm fuzzy movie to watch when snuggling up to honey. A good love story provides a good cry at the expense of comedy, romance, and often someone else’s relationship. These classic films provide great story content without distracting much of the dazzling technology we’re currently getting in the film.

Enjoy a fulfilling time with your loved ones and have a relaxing and wonderful date night while watching these beloved Top Ten Tales of Amour.

10.10. About twilight -It’s a great sight to witness love transcend decades. Whether we see it in our own family or in a movie like here, it is promising in our own relationship. Not only the relationship with the spouse, but also the relationship with the children. Two movie powers, Katharine Hepburn and Henry Fonda, have given us the elegance, humor, and reason to believe in lifelong love. Seeing the love and admiration between Fonda and his daughter Jane provides additional credibility to this wonderful and wonderful love story.

9.9. Love is great -Decision to be with your loved one: There are many basic love story themes here, spun in a fascinating way between two great actors. Jennifer Jones decorates the screen with everything she plays, but it’s fascinating to see her with William Holden. Beyond racial barriers and adultery, this story finds you want this couple to overcome it all. I saw it recently and actually cried hard, just like when I first saw it. I strongly recommend it. It’s a great hug and tissue movie.

8.8. Pillow talk -A great love story doesn’t have to make you cry. This flick with Rock Hudson and Doris Day is a classic screwball comedy full of false identity, love, and absolute cheerfulness. A bulging soundtrack, especially a tiny little one that reigns throughout the various versions of the movie! Also featured Tony Randall and Thelma Ritter.

7. Shop around the corner -James Stewart and Margaret Sullavan. This was the inspiration for “You’ve Got Mail” by Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. That was good, but in that regard, there is often nothing better than the original. There is no internet here. In a quaint little town in Budapest for Christmas, I write old-fashioned letters and live in penpals. Cry with hot cocoa.

6.6. Philadelphia Story -Stella comedy returns to the top after Katharine Hepburn stalled early in her career. It is impossible to see how it is not. This mini-melodrama tells the intertwined story of one of Philadelphia’s wealthiest families and their leading tabloid-filled life. Great conversations throughout the cast and a wealth of fun chemistry provide some of the “most notable” entertainment. With Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart (his Oscar winner) and Ruth Hussey.

5.5. Afternoon love -May-December romance goes on stage here with lively mischief and false identities. Even in the case of deception, Gary Cooper cannot be prevented from falling in love with the young and beautiful Audrey Hepburn. Enchanting music also helps to weave this fascinating story. The station scene in this movie represents the classic moment that many other romantic films tried to duplicate. Nothing else reaches the emotions that this movie evokes.

4.4. It Happened One Night -What do you get with an heir fleeing engagement and a hungry reporter trying to capture this year’s story? One of the best romantic comedies ever hit the screen. Now classic, but full of moments in his thirties, the film laughs and warms the heart. Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert were quite a pair.

3.3. Casablanca -Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. This is a story for everyone. War, conspiracy, suspense, gambling, songs, romance, and of course Paris.

2.2. Madison County Bridge -Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep. I didn’t think the movie would cry as much as the book, but the boy does. It’s a love she has to keep in mind for the rest of her life, but after her death she delivers this legacy of love to her children, making it much easier to understand its power-somehow.

1.1. Wuthering Heights -Sir Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon. Heathcliff, Kathy, Moorish wind story. A classic story of a burdened heart and, literally, timeless love. The best Tearjerker. I still remember many years ago when I went to an old cinema in the town that featured this movie with some of my classmates at college. Almost everyone in the audience continued to sniff after the lights turned on at the end of the movie. (We also laughed embarrassedly.) It’s perfect and nice to snuggle up to Valentine’s Day. It will give you gratitude for knowing love in your life-always.

The original list of my top choices I edited was very long, but I would also like to mention a few things you should consider.

Desk set -The lovely compatibility of Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy throughout the movie, especially in the library loft, gives me chills every time I see it. I couldn’t hide it even if I tried it.

Easy encounter -Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson. It is considered a love story for all love stories. Watching a story of unrequited love, or in this case, seeing love bloom while already being told, is something that is clearly heart-wrenching. Written by Noël Coward and moving along Rachmaninoff’s illustrious soundtrack, there’s no way to stop tears at the end of the film.

Autumn legend -Brad Pitt, West, War, Unrequited Love. Grab at least two boxes of tissue.

When Harry meets Sally -One of my favorites so far … Women and men can be friends. But these two were destined for love, a period.

Gone with the wind -My top movie … but in 4 hours, I thought it was a bit long to mention in the top 10. But don’t miss it … romance, war, passion, scarlet and let …

Titanic -Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. It’s also quite long, but it’s a typical romantic tragedy. We all know the story, but no other movie version captures romance and despair like this. Coupled with the endless story (forgive me) that continues through the theme song Celine Dion’s crescendo and necklace, you still cry about it the day after the song pops on the radio. There is always airplay at this time of the year!

Be sure to get them in time for Valentine’s Day celebrations or whenever you want to have a great date night with your lover!
