The Honda CR80 is one of the most popular members of the Honda CR series, which rocked the world of motorcycles throughout most of the 1980s and 1990s before Honda discontinued production in 2008.
The name Honda CR80 is believed to have come from the year 1980, when the motorcycle model first appeared on the market. It was an amazing machine at the time, and it has been in that state for the rest of its life.
Aesthetically, all the colors in CR 80 are “hot” colors except white. By the way, other colors that Honda CR 80 appears in are so-called flash red, so-called nuclear red, so-called “fighting red”. As I mentioned earlier, this motorcycle is, of course, orange in addition to white.
The CR80 is a machine that is not that heavy. It weighs about 143 pounds and is a machine that a strong man can lift by hand. In automotive terms, this light weight leads to easy maneuverability and excellent fuel efficiency. We see a lot of fuel wasted on heavy motorcycles that “carry” the weight of metal that is essentially useless. However, the fact that the CR 80 is a relatively light motorcycle does not mean that it is not rugged. In making it, Honda engineers seemed to be really worried and came up with a material that combines both weight strength and light weight in a package called Honda CR 80. For a motorcycle of that weight, Honda’s CR80 is also very stable.
The CR 80 was designed with the needs of tall riders in mind. It looks like you’re escaping the designers of other motorcycle models, but don’t worry about the fact that most motorcycle enthusiasts actually tend to be taller. This consideration for tall riders is provided in the form of a seat that rises above 33 inches, giving tall riders complete confidence in pushing the machine forward.
Also noteworthy is the fact that the Honda CR80 is a 6-speed gear-driven transmission machine. This was an engineering genius feat when the Honda CR80 first debuted on the market, and so it remains to this day. When most motorcycles remain a problem with 5th gear.
The CR 80 brakes are based on a single disc mechanism and are considered a fairly safe and efficient braking mechanism. For rider comfort, the Honda CR 80 features fairly sophisticated “true” front and rear suspension.
The Honda-CR 80 fuel tank can take up about 1.5 gallons of fuel. This is enough to comfortably move people from one gas station to the next without having to worry about carrying “spare fuel”. The maximum reachable speed from the Honda CR80 is 70-80 mph, which is near the upper limit of the range when it comes to motorcycle speeds.
