Some of the most notable models in the Indian scooter segment are the Honda Activa, Vespa S, Suzuki Wish and Mahindra Rodeo. Let’s look at these models to each other.

Looks-If looks can be killed, other scooters do not have the charisma of the Vespa S, which is very lively and in the spotlight. Because of this, they are away from the crowd and go unnoticed. The Vespa S is powered by a 125cc air-cooled, 10.1 PS, 10.60NM powerful engine and has a mileage of 57kmpl on urban roads. The Suzuki Wish is equipped with a 124cc air-cooled engine, has an output of 8.7 PS, a torque of 9.8 Nm, and a city mileage of 56.3 kmpl. The Mahindra Rodeo runs on a 124.6cc air-cooled engine with an output of 8.2 PS, torque of 9Nm and mileage of 45.6kmpl. Vespa is the fastest and most powerful of many, while rodeos are the weakest of all.

Cost-The all-new Activa is over Rs 68700 /-at the pre-showroom rate. The corresponding numbers for Vespa S, Swish and Rodeo are 87450 /-, 57300 /-and 57600 /-, respectively. Vespa is the most expensive, but swish and rodeo are the same price, and Activa isn’t that cheap.

Conclusion-Vespa looks great, is faster and more powerful than other Vespas, but its premium price cannot be justified by performance. Honda offers a reasonable ride quality and has many desirable features, but its price can exceed many. Swish has a competitive price and excellent ride quality and features. Rodeos are competitively priced, but disappointed with their poor performance.
