2011 Car Brand Reliability Rankings-Top 10 Consumer Reports

Consumer Reports recently released the 2011 Automotive Brand Reliability Rankings. According to the expected short-term reliability, the top 10 brands of CR for the 2011 model are in descending order:

Toyota Motor’s three car lines (Scion, Toyota and Lexus) and Honda Motor Company’s Acura and Honda are consistently in the top 10 for short-term, medium-term and long-term reliability. Nissan’s Infiniti line is often included in this highly selected group as well.

For the best cars, the small hatchback Scion xD is the highest ranked model in the Scion line, the small sedan or hatchback Toyota Yaris is the highest ranked model of the Toyota brand, and the large luxury SUV Lexus LX is the best Lexus. .. Porsche’s ranking by CR’s predicted short-term reliability jumped from 9th place in the 2010 model to 2nd place in the 2011 model. However, the highest rated model in 2011 is the lowest rated model in 2010, suggesting that the brand data for this car may be too thin to produce stable results.
