Vladimir Guerrero says there is no problem with the knee

According to Vladimir Guerrero of the Los Angeles Angels, he has no knee problems and no surgery. Guerrero said one leg on the mother’s side of the family was longer than the other and inherited it. As a result, he may appear to be dragging, but that was not the case. Guerrero told the media through an interpreter.

Last season, Guerrero had a pain in his right knee and the doctor advised him to have surgery. However, before the spring training, the pain disappeared and as a result Guerrero decided not to undergo surgery.

In 2006, Guerrero averaged .329, scoring 33 home runs and 116 RBIs. It was his third season with the Angels. Unfortunately for Guerrero, he was a major outfielder in the American League with 11 errors. Guerrero claims that the error was not caused by a knee problem.

Angels manager Mike Scioscia said earlier this spring that he would give Guerrero and Garret Anderson more time this season as designated hitters. Last season, Guerrero was a designated hitter 30 times.

Guerrero said his knees hurt even more when he played in the National League because he had no designated hitters, played on the grass and had no rest. But now he’s healthy and he’s willing to take responsibility if Scioscia wants to make him a designated hitter.
