Asking for the cost of an LED screen is like asking for the cost of a car. There is only one answer to this type of question. it depends. For all five variables:
1-Size: Do you need a smart car or BMW X5 (that is, what are the dimensions of the LED screen you want to install?)
2-Power: Do you want to drive on the race circuit or just need it to buy groceries? (That is, what is the resolution of the LED screen?) Note for beginners: Resolution = Distance between pixels: The closer the pixels, the better the image with the shorter display distance.
3-Reliability: Luxury car brands use high-end materials, which can provide a longer warranty (that is, LED screen manufacturers as well).
4-Credentials: How much do you value Toyota’s world-class services? (That is, note the proven technology and newly established Asian companies with no history)
5-Training: BMW offers a 2-day safe drive course for all customers who purchase the new sports series. (That is, beware of LED screen manufacturers that do not provide training on how to use the display effectively, or provide minimal training)
Before you buy an LED screen, you should ask yourself these questions and rank them according to the importance of each point. This easy way allows you to define the ideal screen and manufacturer’s specifications and profile you are looking for.
Well, here are some real numbers if you need to have the exact numbers:
1-Size: The minimum LED screen size I recommend is 2 x 1.5 meters: Of course it depends on the pixel pitch, but in general it is the minimum size I recommend.
2-Power: The best price / performance ratio resolution I recommend is 10mm: Again, the resolution depends on the average viewing distance of the viewer, but 10mm is generally safe.
3-Reliability: The warranty should ideally be at least 2 years. Some entry-level products may come with a one-year warranty. If this is the product you are looking for, make sure a maintenance contract is available. If so, beware of companies that demand 25% of the value of their screens for maintenance from the second year, which may mean they think they are endangering their products. ..
4-Credentials: For company credentials, it’s a good idea not just to check the website (for example, published on other websites), as anyone can insert nice pictures on his website. Here are some pictures of the screens of Italian manufacturers). We recommend that you get the name of at least 2/3 of the customers who are already using the screen and talk to them. Or ask for a video introductory text (showing the details of the person speaking).
5-Training: When it comes to training, make sure your supplier can at least provide basic training on how to use the screen. I’m not talking about technical training (which should be obvious), but the best techniques (and worst mistakes) to create ads, market screens, and find and win advertisers. Talk about the training to show.
Last price note: If you are approaching the LED screen industry for the first time, you should consider investing at least € 20 / 30.000 to buy a display similar to the one above. If you receive a low-priced offer, read the five-point checklist to see what kind of LED screen you have.
